Applied Linguistics looks at how the theory of linguistics, the scientific study of language, can be applied in areas such as English language teaching, communication skills, and corpus linguistics for lexicography. In this course, we will specifically consider how studies of linguistics have influenced our understanding of second or foreign language learning and teaching.

評価方法: Attendance: 20%
Homework (including a mini-research report): 30%
Presentation: 20%
Final essay exam: 30%
