This course concentrates on developing skills in persuasion and effectively presenting yourself in English. From this course, you should learn how to organize ideas and use various techniques of persuasion in order to effectively communicate with others. Activities include: （１） evaluation of persuasive communication, （２） development of persuasive communication messages, and （３） presentation of persuasive speeches. Class will include lecture on principles of persuasion, but particular importance will be placed on active discussion of projects and presentations. |
| 評価方法： |
Since giving presentations and participating in presentations of others in class is essential, your grade will be based on attendance, active participation, and completion of all speeches and public presentations. There will be no written examinations. Three unexcused absences will result in lowering your final course grade by 10%. Excessive tardiness (two times equals one absence) will also result in lowering your grade. |
