This course will provide students with opportunities to practice English pronunciation, especially rhythm, stress, and intonation, and listening comprehension.   There will be dictation practices given on a regular basis. In addition, students will have opportunities to listen to songs to understand their lyrics, and watch DVDs and news clips for extensive listening exercises.

Class participation: 50%; listening test: 25%; speaking test 25%
