This course will initially follow the conclusions of the main European leagues. Focus will then switch to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. There will also be a section on South American soccer. There will be a number of articles to read for the course in the form of match reports, soccer histories and traditions, autobiographies, club websites and many others. Writing reports and presentations will also be based on these categories. In addition, there will also be a short weekly podcast to listen to and discuss, a weekly predict the score competition, a vote for goal of the week, and some World Cup competitions.
