| The study tour will take place from Feb.5-27, 2009 at Burapha University, Chonburi, Thailand. Students will study Thai language for 12 days-6 hours per day. The class will be divided into 2 sections: 3 hours of Thai language classes and 3 hours of activity classes. During the study tour, students will stay with Thai host families. This course aims to increase students' Thai language proficiency, cultural awareness and motivation. Instructors, consisting of Thai professionals from various fields, will stimulate student interest and help them to accumulate strengths in understanding and using the language. Students will also learn to adjust themselves to living in a foreign culture, and they will have stronger contextual knowledge for their studies upon their return. |
