  How To Become A More Successful Language Learner

This course will deal with topics related to second language learning and teaching. The focus will be on how to become a more successful language learner. There will be a mixed format for the classroom activities: some lectures, group discussions, checking assignments, and group presentations. Course requirements involve reading assignments, oral presentations, your language learning history, and final paper. The course is especially suited for those who want to become English teachers or Japanese teachers.  Since this is an intensive summer course, there is a PRECOURSE ASSIGNMENT.  Those registered for the course must complete the assignment before the first day of the class.  

PRECOURSE ASSIGNMENT:
1. Please read one of the assigned textbooks, "How To Be A More Successful Language Learner" and complete the worksheets.  
2. Write your language learning history following the guidelines.
Note: Please pick up the precourse assignment packet at the English Department Office: 4105 in Building 4.
