In this course, students will explore various social aspects of Britain. Examples of the topics to be covered are: education, family life and woment's roles, employment, leisure activities, social welfare, transport, medical service, and housing. Ths topics will be chosen according to the students' interest. Students are required to search for information on their chosen topics - through bookds, newspapers, the Internet, and other sources. They will then present their findings, and analyse and discuss the issues critically.
