Students taking the International Human Rights course will;
- learn about the history and evoltuion of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- explore the current articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
- find and examine case studies in which human rights are important
- research and present on a human rights activist from one of four regional countries (Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesian)
- critically assess sociopolitical situations from around the world using knowledge and opinions developed through the course
