Students will do readings, research, and presentations into how people around the world spend their free time. Students will also study about the concept of Flow (Csikszentmihalyi) and the importance of leisure in society. Students taking this course will: 1 Understand the importance of leisure in society 2 Learn more about world cultures 3 Improve their reading and research skills 4 Develop better communication skills in giving presentations and participating in class discussions |
| 評価方法： | Students will be evaluated from their reading quizzes, written journal entries, and presentations on novel leisure activities in foreign cultures. Active class participation and a final test are other essential components of the course grade. |
