This class will use the research and critical thinking skills you learned in EIC II to find out about and discuss volunteer organizations around the world. In addition, you will experience volunteering first hand by deciding where, and in what capacity, you would like to volunteer. Research projects, presentations, and class discussions will be the main focus of class time. The main goals of this course are to explore our interest in volunteering and to share and have positive experiences reaching out to others.

Although no textbook will be used, a variety of media (print, film, and Internet) will be used during class. Most reading materials will be provided by the teacher.
