At the completion of the course, students should have been able to read and comprehending the formal Indonesian texts or stories, explain and reconstructions the ideas contextually, and also able to analysis the Indonesian language usage and/or language figurative.

1. Read the middle-high level of Indonesian texts and identify the rhetoric or language style, keywords, etc.
2. Identify and explain the paragraph's main points and answer the qoestions about it.
3. Re-tell or axplain the main idea or conclusion of the texts.
4. Identify and explain about informations or ideas behind and beyond of the texts.
5. Identify language figurative and deep structures of writen expression.
6. Do exercises in order to encourage the view of meaning and also prepare the Indonesian Proficiency Test held by HIPUBI.
