At the completion of this course, students should have been able to read the general Indonesian texts or short stories with the proper pronounciation and intonation, answer the questions about the text, and also able to express textual and contextual aspects according to the text-informations in oral Indonesian.

1. Read the simple or general texts and short stories with the proper pronounciation and intonation.
2. Explain some or several special words and phrases grammatically, textual, and/or illustrative.
3. Read the simple authentic texts or news and identify the main points and discuss them in oral Indonesian.
4. Read and discuss about Indonesian ahort-stories, showing comprehension of the plot, and demonstrating ability to represent it.
5. Read and extract salient informations from simple continuous texts, such as graded stories, jokes, comics, short dramatic scene, etc.
6. Read the informal Indonesian reading texts and re-tell in formal Indonesian.
