This is an elective course for non-Japanese students (gakubu ryugakusei) of the IC department. Students must have completed Intermediate English I/II prior to this course.
Students do not need to have any prior experience with the TOEIC to take this introductory course.
The course objective is to (1) introduce the general topics and question types on the New TOEIC exam (2) familiarize students with the most useful test-taking techniques.
Students will take a sample TOEIC exam at the beginning of the semester and at the end of the semester to measure their progress.
The instructor will use English during class time.
