In this course, students will study culture through an in-depth look at the cultural products, practices, people, communities, and perspectives of New York City and New Yorkers.  Students will engage in various communicative tasks, in order to improve both their language skills and thier awareness of other cultures as well as their own.

評価方法：

Grading is based on two presentations - 1 Group Presentation, 1 Individual Presentation (50%) 1 Reading Discussion (20%) and 3 Short Writing Assignments (30%)
