My listening comprehension courses for the study of news in English run for 15 weeks through each semester and aim to give students the opportunities to review and improve the accuracy of their listening comprehension of news spoken in British English or American English. This course, English Proficiency Course III-51 is a second course for the study of news spoken in British English. The lessons will involve both analysis of problems in listening activities and practice of listening to authentic queen's English.  The course will present students with strategies for coping with problems in listening comprehension particularly from the viewpoint of a speaker of Japanese.
Each of my other English Proficiency III courses will deal with different materials and is full of varieties, so you can select more than one course, if you like, during the same semester or in each of both semesters.
