This course will be interesting and fun. It will build upon the religion unit in EIC 2. It will begin by exploring the concept of religion and belief. It will then explore the religions of Central and East Asia in greater depth. The class will also explore some of the “hidden” aspects of these religions. Students will continue their studies of English (especially vocabulary) through readings in the materials, current news stories, and religious texts. Videos, group discussions, and presentations will also help students understand the topic, while offering a chance to practice English listening and speaking. This class is a great chance to explore a fascinating topic in an open, fun environment and continue to hone your English skills.
