Course Description In this course we will explore communication skills and learn multimedia design. We will look at spoken, written, group, advertising and mass communication. We will learn multimedia design skills to be able to design, create and produce communication using Photoshop, Flash and iMovie. Group, pair and individual work will be used in this class to learn and discover more about Multimedia and Communication. Objectives In this course we will: - discover new communication strategies and ways of thinking - learn multimedia design skills - encourage critical thinking on communication through multimedia - increase awareness for creating effective and efficient communication through multimedia

１． Multimedia Each week we will learn different multimedia design and production skills. The three software programs we will use are Photoshop, Flash and iMovie. ２． Communication Each week we will learn different communication theories, strategies and skills. Some of these are grouped in the following categories: spoken, written, group, advertising and mass communication.
