This course is for the non-Japanese students of the IC and IL department who have completed Basic English, or who are assigned to this course after taking the English for Foreign Students Program Placement Exam (in late March).
The objectives of the course are to help students (1) acquire an intermediate level understanding of English (2) communicate with and use English in various contexts (3) improve on all English skills through various course assignments and activities.
The instructor will use English and student are expected to speak/use English for most of the class time.
