This course will focus on the learning of culture through an in-depth look at the products, practices, perspectives, communities and people of New York City.  Students will not only learn practical aspects about life in New York, including famous places, people and events, but also will reflect upon what makes New York City unique and how it is different than life in Japan.

評価方法: Presentations and Final Project (60% of final grade)  Two independant writing assignments (20% of final grade)  Attendance and Participation (20% of final grade)
