This course explores the culture and society of Canada. We will learn various aspects of modern Canada such as multiculturalism, politics and diplomacy, Canadian lifestyle, family, environment, language situation, and other current issues of the Canadian society.     Students are expected to read the textbook and do the assignments before coming to class and discuss the content in class. The objectives of this course are to learn about Canada and to practice listening, speaking, reading and writing in English.

評価方法：

Grades are based on attendance, class participation, assignments, quizzes, media journal and a final essay.

Please be advised that there would be a great amount of take-home reading and writing assignments and a lot of discussion in class. Also it is recommended that students wishing to enter this course have already taken カナダ研究入門I and カナダ研究入門II, or at least one of these two.
