Investigate and explore the mysterious places, creatures and phenomena of our world. What is the Bermuda Triangle? How do animals communicate? Do ghosts really exist?
This is an integrated skills course intended to build on your communicative proficiency in English. At the same time, we will explore mysteries in our world and try to uncover the truth. The goal will be to create a final project based on our investigations: a book or video. Each student will be asked to do individual research, participate in classroom discussions, complete assigned readings or viewings (of TV shows/movies), present both orally and in writing, and keep a reflection journal. By taking this class, it is hoped you will practice your critical thinking skills in English, and will learn something new about our world.
