This class is for people who are currently English teachers for for those who intend to become English teachers.  It will be divided into two parts. The first hour will be a lecture/discussion format where we concentrate on the weekly topics that are introduced in our textbook. The second hour of the class will be devoted to practical teaching techniques where class participants share teaching materials that they currently use in their classes. The class will be taught entirely in English. Participants are encouraged to keep up with the textbook readings as much as possible, though weekly summary handouts will be provided by the teacher.  The lecture topics may carry over to the subsequent weeks, so the following schedule may change, though the topics will occur in the following order.
