２００５年９月に開催された国連設立６０周年記念サミットで決定された国連改革案の推進の過程を国連本部のweb site を通してフォローし、特に安保理事会の拡大と日本の立場に焦点をあてる。また６ヵ月の期限付きで事務局の改革を迫られたアナン事務総長は任期終了を１２月に控えてどの様に乗り切るであろか？　又the MDGs(Millenium Development Goals)の目標達成の評価も２００５年３月にアナン事務総長が出したレポート：In Larger Freedom:towards developmnt, security and human rights for allを読みながら貧困軽減や開発の問題を皆で一緒に考える。UNDP の　Human Development Report 2005: International cooperation at a crossroads: Aid, trade and security in an unequal world も併読する。PPT使用の発表、クラス討論を奨励する。
