The 2nd semester component of this course aims to give students a general introudcution business and companies. An outline of the topics that will be covered is provided below. Politeness in English: making requests Telephone English: taking and leaving messages Negotiating and expressing opinions Business culutures Business writing Choosing the job you want Reading job advertisements Project: applying for a job ; making a CV, writing an application letter, having a job interview This course is open to all students however priority is given to 1st and 2nd year ILC students. |
