| The focus of this class is on current issues in the world that are neglected by the mainstream media for whatever reason. In this class, we will learn about and discuss subject matter such as the media, landmine proliferation, sweatshop labor, the environmental issue of deforestation and conflict or blood diamonds. We will use dvds, tapes, and the Internet to assist us with our research. |
