| The focus of this class is on current issues that are neglected by the mainstream media for whatever reason. In this class, we will learn about and discuss subjects such as the media, landmine proliferation, sweatshop labor, the environmental issue of deforestation and conflict or blood diamonds. We will use a variety of dvds, tapes and Internet sites to assist us with our research as well as the KALLS. |
