Are you interested in teaching English, Japanese or any other languages? This course is recommended for students who are interested in teaching language to non-native speakers of that language. It is a hand-on course where you learn by experiencing different activities and discovering things for yourself.

Students will be required to reflect on their experiences as learners and teachers to discover their own teaching beliefs. Students will keep a journal of their reflections throughout the course.

Students will practice teaching a 5-10 minute activity at the end of each unit, and teach a 20-minute session as a final project.

  This course will follow the textbook closely, and additional materials will be provided when necessary.
