Students will gain deeper insight into Thai culture and beliefs by analyzing Thai folk tales. Students will compare the stories to look for similarities among characters, plots, and incidents. The course will emphasize all four language skills; reading, listening, speaking and writing.

評価方法： Students will write reports, giving their opinion on the theme of each story and analyzing the behavior of the characters in each story.

参考文献： Thanakit (collector), 50 Nithan Thai, Suwiiriyasarn, 1996

　 Unpublished textbook "Thai Folk Tales" by Pornsri Wright, 2004 will be used.
