Oral interpretation of Movie Drama
The goal of this cource is to learn theory and practice of the fundamental skills of oral interpretation of literature. We will work on correct pronunciation,proper syllable stress and particuraly focus on how to bring out meaning through phrasing, pausing, pitch, rate, and others to fullfill the basic function of communication. By viewing movies, we observe how intelligible speech is made and learn to pronounce and articulate with clarity and accuracy.
A student will be engaged in the re-creation of all the characters in a scene and perform his oral interpretation seeking to become the speaker in the drama.
