In this course, students will learn how to improve their critical thinking and debating skills in English. Many companies, both Japanese and Western, need employees who are able to think analytically and creatively and who can express their opinions clearly and logically. This SOGO will help students develop in this area, improving both their English language ability and their analytical skill. By building these skills step by step, students will learn how to solve problems, make arguments, and debate controversial issues in English. The course will focus primarily on speaking skills, but will also include reading and writing. Assessment will be through projects, presentations, and written work.
