This course aims to introduce students to a new style of language learning. Singing is a fun way for students to learn languages, as it provides an interesting and motivating way for students to improve their listening, reading and pronunciation skills, as well as learning new vocabulary and building self-confidence in their language ability.
Song lyrics, like poetry, are fluid, allowing for various interpretations. They are an abundant source of information about human relations, ethics, customs, history, humour and regional and cultural differences.
By analyzing lyrics, students will be able to discover meanings and common themes within the context, and learn to draw parallels to their lives and experiences, as well as expanding their cultural knowledge.
