英語総合講座-33 Independent Travel In Asia |

The course will cover information regarding travel on the Asian continent. Each week a different Asian country will be covered in class. In addition to valuable information about sight-seeing in each country, students will learn about: ・ports of entry and visa requirements, ・currency and costs, ・types of accommodation available, ・issues of travelling safely, ・health considerations and vaccinations ・understanding transport, ・facts of interest The objective of the course is for students to gain a good understanding of issues relating to travelling in Asia. At the end of the course, student should be confident and able to travel throughout this region of the world independently. They will have the skills to do anything from obtaining visas to mapping out their own travel plans to organising accommodation and transport. |

Each week, the students are required to read articles and attend the lectures on each country. From this information, the students must complete the following pieces of assessment: ・Weekly quiz on each country (from information in lecturers and reading material). A total of 10 quizzes worth 5% each (50%) ・A report on one of the countries (25%) ・A detailed travel itinerary for a three-week trip in Asia (25%) |
