Despite the demise of the cold war, wars and conflicts don't disappear from the international society. These problems owing to a variety of causes such as racial prejudices, ethno-racial antagonism, religious strife and sexism appear to make headlines in the mass media everyday. In this course, we think about together what to do in order humanity may establish a lasting peace on our planet.The course aims to hope for the students'effort to find themselves answers to problems you treat with. For that, regular in-class group studies are supposed, and individual or group presentations are required to contribute to a class discussion. |
| 評価方法： | Attendance 10%, Class participatin 70％（research studies 20%, presentation 20%, discussion 30％）, Final paper 20% |
| テキスト名： | Reading materials will be provided , but a printing fee , not expensive, will be requested. |
| 注意事項： | In a class, all students will form groups of 4 or so according to subjects and each group is expected to discuss among yourselves the issues presented by two of your group members, taking turns preparing a preparatory paper in advance for a discussion . |
