| This class will explore the roots of modern day terrorism by first taking a look at the history of terrorism. What is terrorism?Where does it come from? Why does it exist? What is the difference between a 'terroris' and a 'freedom fighter'？ Can soldiers be considered terrorists? Terrorism throughout different regions of the world will be examined along with terror organizations including an in depth study of Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda. |
