Improving intercultural competence

This is a one-year course. It aims at exploring the buliding blocks of intercultural communication by introducing its basic concepts and main theories. The course tries to cover the many-faceted application of intercultural communication studies in areas expanding from linguistics through education to business.  

評価方法: Based on class attendance and activity; each participant is to contribute with minimum one presentation per semester from the designated literature

テキスト名: The articles with(*) are to be found in Bennett`s volume; the rest will be distributed in class

注意事項: The course is run in English, but contributions and activity in class is also accepted in Japanese. Presentations however are to be done in English.
