Table Tennis Exclusive

The goal in my class is to create a positive atmosphere in which both communication and table tennis can develop. This will be achieved through a mix of handouts and intensive table tennis teaching.  

評価方法: In the final week there is a 10-minute 10 question multiple-choice test covering the first week's material. This test carries a 25% weighting will attendance makes up the other 75%.

注意事項: Student's are expected to turn up to class in sports wear and sports shoes.

1.Week one will include the explanation of the table tennis course followed by the collection of the completed student registration cards.
2.The second week will include a stroke analysis focused on the forehand slice and optional grips. Plus the establishment of friendship group led tennis table teams. Finally, the handing out of worksheet one.
3.Week three sees the backhand slice and review of forehand slice in the warm up time. At the end of the class a review of last weeks table data plus the handout of worksheet two.
4.In week four the class will review both the preverse weeks strokes. Following this the format required for a legal serve will be cover and the slice serve analysied. Handout three issued.
5.During week five the continued review of previous weeks strokes and begining the idea of forehand topspin. Final handout four issued.
6.The sixth week begins with review and then continue with stroke development on the backhand topspin.
7.Week seven will look at the forehand topspin serve.
8.Week eight will cover the backhand topspin serve.
9.In week nine the class will start to review scoring and start a rotating 5 minute game with other pairs.
10.Review of the strokes to identify weak individuals for extra teaching points plus continued rotating games.
11.Review of the strokes to identify weak individuals for extra teaching points and continued rotating games.
12.With week twelve we see the start of a class tournament with the selection of partners for the following week.
13.Week thirteen a review the opening few weeks material. While on the tables the class tournament continues.
14.The second from last week will be a see a continuation of the class tournament and any final questions remaining from the course.
15.Final week is test week and the completion of the class tournament plus prize ceremony.
