| First Year English for Non-English Majors |
| This course meets for two 90-minute periods per week. One of these classes focuses on reading/writing,the other emphasizes speaking/listening. All classes emphasize communication. In the reading class,students summarize and discuss the topics in the textbook. In the speaking class,students are given the opportunity to interact in spoken English. |
