Medical Ethics

With the development of modern technology and medicine, what was impossible a generation ago is now scientifically possible. It is thankful that many lives have been saved and thousands of illness detected and/or cured.
While continuing scientific advances extend our biological options, they also present major moral and ethical dilemmas.
The aim of the course is to provide students with ethical discussions on medical issues. Issues included are organ transplants, animal and human cloning, gene therapy, and eugenics. The students are encouraged to express their opinions in various ways.
Reading materials will be taken from new papers and magazines and films will be used to illustrate the areas studied.

some technological and medical terms will be introduced. dictionary use is crucial. anyone who would like to think of value of life, share your opinion with us.
