Tourism is one of the major industries of the world. The study of tourism is more than learning about hotels and package tours. Tourism affects so many aspects of our lives, changing the way we live and the world in which we live.
This course will introduce the study of tourism, focussing on the major impacts - economic, social and environmental - through case studies and examples.
The aim of the course is to give students a deeper understanding of an industry that has the power to make or break societies.
